About the Role:

We're seeking a proactive Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team, playing a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting smooth, efficient accounting operations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, reconciliations and audit: 
  • Assist in processing invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable. 
  • Management and ownership of fixed assets and the asset register including monthly reconciliation and reporting.
  • Compliance and Statutory Reporting, which includes GST, FBT, ABS.

This opportunity will be offered on a permanent full-time basis, working 76 hours per fortnight.

Section criteria:

  • A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure to accounting software such as Pronto, SAP or other ERP system.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Excel.
  • Intermediate numerical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
