About the Role:

As the Procurement and Expediting Officer, you will play a vital role in keeping our purchasing activities on track by processing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, expediting deliveries, and monitoring order progress. Working closely with the Procurement team and Inventory Specialist, you will ensure purchasing requests and stock replenishment requirements are actioned accurately, efficiently, and on time.
This is a permanent full-time position, working 76 hours per fortnight, offering the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative team while supporting critical business operations through effective procurement and supplier management.

Section criteria:
· Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain administration, inventory support or a similar operational support role.
· Practical understanding of purchasing administration and the Procure-to-Pay process, including purchase orders, confirmations, receipting and invoice query follow-up.
· Experience working with suppliers, internal stakeholders and operational teams to obtain information and resolve purchasing issues.
· Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel.
· Experience using Pronto or a similar ERP/materials management system, or the ability to learn system processes quickly.
· High attention to detail, accuracy, organisation and follow-through when managing purchase orders, supplier data and documentation.
· Clear written and verbal communication skills and a professional approach to supplier and stakeholder contact.
