High abrasion resistance spray elastomer coating

MAGMA is an ultra-high wear resistant polyurea coating, developed to suit various applications and operating conditions. It is an extremely versatile product that gives outstanding physical performance including tensile, high tear and impact resistance in severe demanding applications against abrasion and corrosion. Curing takes a matter of seconds, and application times are a fraction of those seen in traditional rubber lining or cast polyurethanes.

Area of Application

Belt Repair

MAGMA has been successfully applied to multiple damaged belts in hard rock mining applications. At a fraction of the cost of replacing a belt and completed within short shutdown periods, this is a highly attractive option to prolong belt life and reduce unscheduled maintenance.

 

Wear Protection

MAGMA is an attractive alternative to rubber lining and polyurethane products due to its ease of application and excellent wear properties. In a number of applications MAGMA has outperformed premium rubber products.

 

Corrosion Protection

MAGMA can be applied to structural steels as an effective long-term corrosion protection solution, on-site in just seconds protecting client assets from environmental conditions.
