Case Study: Rubber Lining That Lasts

The challenge
The customer required a more durable lining solution that could:
- Transport coarse slurry with minimal wear
- Extend wear life in high-abrasion areas
- Reduce maintenance frequency

The solution
A trial was conducted using REMALine MP 35 in 6mm thickness as a replacement lining material.

The results
The results of the trial were outstanding:
- Extended wear life: The previous lining lasted approximately 18 months. REMALine MP 35 has now exceeded 20 months of service and remains in good condition, with usable life still remaining.
- Improved reliability: Reduced frequency of relining has contributed to lower maintenance intervention and improved operational continuity.
- Increased adoption: As a result of the successful trial, an additional 64 spools have been lined using REMALine MP 35.
- Lead time advantage: Availability of stock enabled a fast turnaround, supporting maintenance planning and reducing downtime risk.
